We have kicked off a new fundraising campaign to help raise funds for our educational and safety programs. We will be contacting residents in the Tri-Cities area and throughout the East Tennessee region about becoming a KFA Booster Member. We hope that you’ll stand behind our fire fighters to make a difference!

The Kingsport Firefighters Association Local 2270 donated 52 photoelectric smoke alarms to the Kingsport Fire Department on December 19th at KFD Station One.

Bill Anders, of the Kingsport Firefighters Association Local 2270 said, “The funds from our two concerts we host during the year provides smoke alarms, helps Operation Warmth to supply coats for area school children, and funds to present the burn foundation and other community projects.

“These new smoke alarms will help the KFD protect the citizens inside the city who need to replace the smoke alarms in their homes.” stated Barry Brickey, KFD Public Education Officer, “The KFD would like to thank the Kingsport Firefighters Association for their generosity and support to safeguard the citizens of Kingsport.”
